Utrechtconventionbureau.nl is the website of the Utrecht Convention Bureau. This organisation provides expert, free and independent advice to organisers of conferences, meetings and other business events about the relevant possibilities that Utrecht has to offer.

Newsletter

Subscription

If you subscribe to the newsletter via this website, on a periodic basis you can expect a newsletter with the latest news from and about the Utrecht Convention Bureau. We will store your personal data in our MailingList email system and use it exclusively for the purpose of sending the newsletter. We use the entered data as follows:

  • Email address (compulsory): the email address is required to send you the newsletter.

At the bottom of each mailing, there is a link that allows you to unsubscribe from the newsletter.

Processing

We use a processor to send out our newsletter and mailing, namely EM-Culture, with which we have concluded a processing agreement.

Retention Periods

Your data will not be stored for longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, unless this data must be stored due to a legal obligation or until you ask us to delete your data.

Rights

On 25 May 2018, the rules with regard to data protection were further tightened (General Data Protection Regulation). One element of this is that you have the right to be forgotten. If you would like your data to be removed from our system, email marketing@utrechtmarketing.nl stating ‘Delete my details from Utrechtconventionbureau.nl’. In this email, be sure to include your last name and the email address with which you subscribed. To prevent abuse, we may ask you to provide appropriate identification. When it comes to access to personal data linked to a cookie, you must send a copy of the cookie in question. You can find this in the settings of your browser. This information will allow us to locate and delete your data. All data is sent via an SSL connection.

Changes

This privacy statement entered into force on 25 May 2018. Utrechtconventionbureau.nl reserves the right to amend and update this privacy statement.
