Fresh restart for Hotel Service Utrecht

Hotel Service Utrecht (HSU) is back in the saddle and ready to go! The free online hotel booking tool for conferences and events made a fresh restart at the beginning of this year, led by Manon Zakai. After the initial parent company suffered some serious setbacks, Zakai took matters into her own hands and purchased Hotel Service Utrecht. “For years I have been working hard on optimizing HSU  and building a strong relationship with the Utrecht hotels. I could not bear to see this beautiful service disappear. HSU has been completely renewed and offers an innovative solution that takes a lot of work out of the hands of conference and event organizers ”.

How it works
Hotel Service Utrecht is a free online booking tool with which (international) event and conference participants can easily and safely book a hotel room. Room blocks are secured per event at hotels specifically selected for that event. The availability together with relevant hotel information are processed in the booking module, which can be fully integrated into the website of the event and adapted to the corresponding look & feel. Pre-confirmed room blocks can also be added.

Free of charge
There are no costs for the organizers to use the booking engine or the services. Hotel Service Utrecht's revenues derive from the hotel commission on the final amount of rooms booked.

Hotel Service Utrecht, founded in 2012, is the result of a close collaboration between the Utrecht Convention Bureau, the Utrecht hotels and ITB Booking Office. The Utrecht Convention Bureau is very happy with the restart of Hotel Service Utrecht. “This one-stop shop takes a lot of work out of the hands of organizers. We are pleased that through Hotel Service Utrecht we can continue to offer this service, as we are used to in Utrecht, ”says Account Manager Monique André de la Porte. In its new capacity, Hotel Service Utrecht is part of Lennon Services, an organization and consultancy agency in projects and events. Other services provided by Lennon's Services can be combined with Hotel Service Utrecht. This combination makes it possible to add city tours, dinners or transport to the event program as an extra service or activity.
